1144 Carbon has a machinability rating of 83 percent, which is high compared to its similar kinds.
Because of its high sulfur content, this grade has a machinability rating of 83 percent when compared to 1212 steel; however, welding is a difficult task.
O’Hare Precision Metals can provide a wide range of company-supplied or customer-supplied components and materials. Just like how we can offer you the best 2011 Aluminum bar stocks and 2011 Aluminum round bar stocks in O’Hare!
The corrosion resistance and weldability of aluminum alloy 2011 are significantly lower than those of other aluminum alloys. It is possible to machine it at high speeds while using relatively heavy feeds. Excellent hardness and strength combined with good corrosion resistance make this a desirable material. Moreover, when metal chips are machined, they break off in small and easily dispersed pieces, resulting in clean finishes and precise tolerances. The weldability, strength, and anodizing reaction are all considered at best average. Lastly, corrosion resistance is not considered to be particularly good.
It is widely used in parts requiring extensive machining, such as those produced by automatic screw machines. Other than that, speedometer parts, tv fittings, clock parts, connectors, auto-fuel system components, gears, and camera parts are just some of the many applications of 7075 Aluminum.
